In-House Engineering
Having an in-house Engineering department, a rarity in the sign trade, provides a tremendous advantage to our clients. This reduces the back and forth between Arrow, outside engineers, city officials and the design team. Our engineers are familiar with the the latest International Building Code and how it will impact structures, foundations, mounting details, etc. Combining core engineering education with years of sign design experience, we maintain the knowledge needed to devise the most effective approach that will satisfy the designer's vision, the city code parameters, unique site conditions, and the client's budget.

Permit Services
We understand it can be difficult to navigate the individual requirements of the hundreds of municipalities in the State of California. Each city has their own process for sign permitting. Some projects require Design Review Hearings, Planning Commission and City Council presentations, variance and sign exception filings, the creation of sign programs and amendments, etc., to get the project through the first phase of permitting and planning. The second phase requires skilled building and installation knowledge. Our permit staff has worked with almost every agency and is trained to mitigate this process, from the simplest form to moving the project expeditiously through formal permitting. We are often able to obtain over the counter approvals as we thoroughly prepare our submittal packages in a custom fashion to meet that city's requirements. We perform pre-qualifications of designs and construction details well in advance of formal submittal. Additionally, we have extensive experience with state and county agencies such as Caltrans. Lastly, as part of our service, we coordinate all special and final inspections noted for the project.

With five full service installation crane trucks, three heavy lifting cranes, five service pick-up trucks, three tractor trailers, dump trucks, portable staging equipment, bobcats, welders and a large variety of hand tools, we are able to complete any installation. Our team has a combined experience of over 100 years installing signs and have the knowledge to resolve any conflicts that may arise. Their skills have no barrier ranging from master electrician to accomplished certified welding. There is no project too large or too difficult for us to complete.
